Donald Trump Said He Will Implement Largest Deportation Program In American History

During his keynote address at the Conservative Political Action Conference, former President Donald Trump revealed his plans for a mass deportation should he win a second term in office in 2024.

Trump told the CPAC audience on Saturday, "Under my leadership, we will employ all appropriate state, municipal, federal, and military resources to carry out the greatest domestic deportation operation in American history. Without asking any questions, we will remove them from our country and throw them out.

Meetings at the border between the United States and Mexico approached record-breaking levels in the fiscal year of 2022, outraging many conservatives. Trump blamed the crisis on the Biden administration. He added that President Joe Biden's government "took it away and they buried it" after his administration allegedly stockedpiled materials to build a border wall.

Trump stated that the first reconciliation package he would sign would significantly boost border patrol and ICE [Immigration and Customs Enforcement] deportation officers. Other nations are emptying out their jails, asylums for the insane, and mental hospitals and dumping all of their problems there.

Trump continued, "We will pick them up and toss them out. I will order every state and federal agency to identify every known or suspected gang member in America and every one of them that is here illegally.

Trump has long made stopping illegal immigration a high focus. The latter didn't materialize under his first term, but building a wall and making Mexico pay for it was one of his defining political messages throughout the 2016 campaign. Trump also disclosed plans to target American cities with rising crime rates in addition to immigration.

"Unless law and order are reinstated, I'll dispatch the National Guard. In his keynote address, Donald Trump added, "You know we're not supposed to do that.

The first time Trump spoke at CPAC was in 2011, which was about four years before he burst into the political scene and won the presidency. Trump easily prevailed in the straw poll at the 2023 CPAC, demonstrating his firm hold on the conservative base. Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R), who is his most likely opponent in 2024, opted out of the conference to avoid a split-screen debate with him.
